On Monday 20th | - The Seeds 4 Success Health and Wellbeing session will run from 7:30 to 9pm at the Nadder Centre. This is a weekly session for young people where they can take part in a variety of physical activities as well as art therapy and healthy cooking. |
On Tuesday the 21st | - Tisbury Netball Club meet between 7.30 and 8.30pm at the Nadder Centre. For over 14s, all abilities welcome, turn up or contact 07805 644881. |
On Wednesday the 22nd | - The Fonthill Park Cricket Club have their first home game of the season, against Erlestoke, starting at 6pm. |
On Thursday the 23rd | - At 9am the Tisbus weekly shopping run to Gillingham (via Shaftesbury) will pick members up from your door and return you afterwards. Call coordinator Dave Milas on 07500 802525 for details about joining. - The monthly RNID Near You: Hearing Aid Support session will be at the Methodist Church from 10-11:30am, including retubing and cleaning hearing aids and batteries. - Join Dr Kinlin for her focus session on Memory Loss, Alzheimer’s and Dementia at 4pm in Fovant Village Hall. - There will be an Afternoon Tea with Wildlife Photography from 2:30-4:15pm at Victoria Hall Tisbury. |
Then on Friday the 24th | - The regular term-time baby and pre-schooler group Wardour Wee Ones is on at Wardour School from 9:30-10:45am, join them for fun activities and a cup of tea, costs £1 per family, no booking required. - There is Art Group Life Drawing in the Chilmark Reading Room at 10:30am, for more details, contact Rose Chapman on rosechapmaneva@gmail.com - Harry's On the Square have a cocktail night, from 6-9pm, join them for a boozy night and some sharer boards, email to book a table at harrys_onthesquare@outlook.com, or just show up. - It’s Friday Night Jazz at the Victoria Hall with the John Lloyd Quartet at 7:30pm. - Tisbury Youth Dance Group’s creative dance fitness classes take place every Saturday morning during term time at the Victoria Hall. Classes are for both boys and girls of any ability and explore different types of movement and dance. Contact Wendy on 07765 089667 for more information. | |
On Sunday the 26th | - Fonthill House has an open garden for charity from 12-5pm. Wonderful woodland walks with daffodils, rhododendrons, azaleas, shrubs and bulbs, as well as light refreshments. £10 for adults and free for children, you can pre-book on the National Garden Scheme website www.ngs.org.uk or turn up and pay on the day. - A new family session called ‘Come Together’ will run at the Methodist Church from 3:30-4:30pm, and alternating Sundays after that, with crafts, songs and stories with donkey. - An RBO recording of The Magic Flute will be shown at 5pm at Victoria Hall, see their website for tickets. |
