| Monday 28 | A new exhibition at Messums opens this week featuring the work of young Irish still life and landscape painter Hannah Mooney (b.1995). Entry is free and there’s a nice café on site. Messums in Place Farm, in Court Street. Open from 10am – 4pm. Contact: www.messumswiltshire.com
| Tuesday 29 | Tisbury Netball Club plays on a Tuesday night from 7.45pm-8.45pm at the Nadder Centre. All abilities and ages from 14 upwards, are welcome. First session free!

| Thursday 1 | · There’s an illustrated talk on The Great Houses and Churches of Fonthill by Prof and author Caroline Dakers at 6pm, in the Village Hut in Stop Street, Fonthill Gifford. Caroline is editor of Fonthill Recovered, A Cultural History. Tickets £10 (includes glass of wine) to raise funds for roof repairs to Holy Trinity Church. To book a seat, call Dave on 07500 802525. · Tiz the Season Weekend kicks off on Friday evening with a Christmas Carol Concert by the Tisbury Community Choir in the Victoria Hall. | Saturday 3 | · On Saturday, there’s the Tisbury Gift and Craft Fair in the Hinton Hall from 10-3pm. · There are loads of Tiz the Season events happening on Saturday in The New Vic@Tisbury’s Victoria Hall and Elizabeth Halls, starting off with the third annual Art in the Corridor, an all-weekend exhibition, of local art and crafts from 10am til late, and the Tisbury Country Market from 10-12 noon. Free entry to both! · In the evening, join in the fun with friends and family in the Victoria Hall for a festive night of music and dancing to the toe-tapping tunes of local bands Hummingbird and Cable Street and get into the Christmas spirit. | Sunday 4 | · Fancy a little Tis the Season Christmas shopping and socialising at Tisbury’s Christmas Market which runs all day Sunday from 9-4pm along the High Street. There will be tons of wonderful artisan craft & produce stalls, shops, cafes and tasty treats to enjoy! · From 10-4pm on Sunday, there’s Crafts and Carols at the Methodist Hall. · 12-4pm there’s Santa’s Grotto in the Elizabeth Hall and a Pop-up Café in the Victoria Hall offering tea, coffee, cakes and refreshments. · 12-1.30pm, Whitehorse Morris will be dancing in the High Street outside The Benett. · Tisbury Electric Car Club’s festive get-together – everyone welcome from 2pm – 4pm at The Boot in the High Street.
