Bank Holidays, Coronations and local elections may be behind us, for now, but don’t think things are quietening down in Tisbury. This week a whole range of activities are underway for The Big Green Week culminating in the Tisbury Jumble Trail on Saturday 17th. For a full menu of Big Green events go to the website greatbiggreenweek.com and search for Tisbury, for all the Tisbury listings of Green goings-on.

And outside of all that is  green, on Tuesday 13th at 7.30 in the Hinton Hall  the Tisbury History Society talk will be given by Frogg Moody on the History of Cinema and Theatre in Salisbury. For more information go to the website www.tisburyhistory.co.uk

On Wednesday 14th at 6pm a service of healing and wholeness will be held in St John’s Church

Then a very busy day on Saturday 17th with, as already mentioned, the Tisbury Jumble Trail and Car boot sale taking place.

Also that day, at 9.30am-12 noon the Communitea Café Breakfast will take place in the Methodist Church

And the Tisbury Country Market 10-11am is in its usual venue of the Victoria Hall.

On the same day Saturday 17th and weather allowing, the Young Nature Watch Pollination Survey will be meeting in a flower meadow in Chicksgrove to undertake a pollinator survey. This is important research and if you want to get involved and need more information go to https://www.tisburynaturalhistory.com/young-nature-watch where you will find out everything you need to know.
