 | Monday 23-29 | ·         Feeling a bit out of shape, well, why not sign up today at the Nadder Centre for exercise classes which are fun, motivational, social, and great for your fitness!...and there is a class for you, regardless of your age, fitness level, or ability. | Tuesday 24 | ·         The Tiz’Berries Community Larder at the Youth Centre behind the Swimming Pool is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 until 3.30pm (Tues & Thursday 9.30pm-7pm) and it’s stocked with tins of food, tasty treats, toiletries, winter clothing and blankets.  Contact: Zita Hooper, Tisbury Youth Group Worker, https://www.facebook.com/TisburyLYN ·         There are free logs and kindling for local people and families in need.  If you’d like some, contact jaki@seedsforsuccess.org.uk
| Wednesday 25 | ·         Tisbury Memory Group’s pop-up café is back on Wednesday in the Hinton Hall from 10-12noon.  Tea, coffee and home-baked cakes served. Everyone welcome. Contact: Anne-Marie 07704 783742
| Thursday 26 | For mums and dads with babies and toddlers, Tisbury Tots meet every Thursday from 9.45am-11.45am @ The Hinton Hall by St John’s Church. A weekly safe space for children to play, and for grown-ups to meet each other over tea and coffee. £2 per child and please bring your own reusable cup with lid for teas & coffees. More info on the Tisbury Tots Facebook page.  ·         Thursday is opening night of the Tisbury Pantomime Rapunzel which runs until Saturday night. at The New Vic@Tisbury on the High Street. The production is being staged by Tisbury Arts Group with an all-star cast of local actors including Dame Hilda Blunderberg who I bumped into this week with her director Judy Fitzpatrick. Tickets £10.00 can be booked online at www.tisburyartsgroup.co.uk Doors and Bar open at 7pm, performance starts at 7.30 pm
| Friday 27 | ·         On Friday, there’s a great opportunity to kick off the weekend with a leisurely walk after lunch to see Messum’s new exhibition ‘Threshold’ at Place Farm. It features the rugged Scottish and Irish landscapes of contemporary artist Richard Hoare.  Entry is free and there is a restaurant and café on site. Thursday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday-Monday. 10am – 4pm.  Runs to 26 February 2023.  | Saturday 28 | ·         The Royal Oak, Swallowcliffe is hosting the Tisbury Gentlemen’s Breakfast at 8.30am on Saturday, 28 January with guest speaker Commodore Bill Fairbairn who’ll be describing his adventure sailing across the Southern Ocean to Antarctica in a talk titled By Barque to Antartica. Cost is £17 on the door and includes breakfast. The pantomime starts at 2pm with drinks and refreshments available.
