| Tuesday 17 | ·         Tisbury Parish Council meets at 7pm this week in the Reading Room on the High Street.  Councillor Murray will give an update on the progress of the Planning Inquiry for the Station Works proposed development. Fear not, Tisbury Horticultural Society has invited an expert from Sherborne Castle Gardens to the Methodist Hall on Wednesday, 7.30pm, to talk about Planning and Planting a Border. | Thursday 19 | At the New Vic@Tisbury on Thursday this week, The Tisbury Natural History Society is hosting a talk in the Victoria Hall, by Clive Whitbourn on Conserving the wildlife and landscape of local national Trust properties. Doors and the bar open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.  Tickets: £2 for guests, free for members.  | Friday 20 | Ballet lovers are in for a treat at The New Vic@Tisbury this Friday which is streaming the Royal Ballet and American Ballet co-production of modern Mexican classic, Like Water for Chocolatefrom Covent Garden. | Saturday 21 | A new exhibition ‘Threshold’ opened this week at Messums gallery, Place Farm, featuring the rugged Scottish and Irish landscapes of contemporary artist Richard Hoare.  Entry is free and there is a restaurant and café on site.
